Taylor Liberty Tree Guitar & Baby Liberty Set

Taylor Liberty Tree Guitar and Baby Liberty Set. "This instrument is certified to be an authentic TAYLOR LIBERTY TREE GUITAR. It is crafted from the wood of the Nation's last surviving LIBERTY TREE, in Annapolis, Maryland. It features richly figured Tulip Poplar back and sides, pre- and post-Revolutionary War American Flag inlays, a Declaration of Independence fretboard inlay, and an antique style abalone-edged soundboard." The Liberty Tree is a Grand Concert with back and sides of gloriously figured, chocolate-and-vanilla-colored tulip poplar, and an abalone-edged top of Sitka spruce. A laser-etched, burly maple inlay of a scrolled Declaration of Independence extends from the fingerboard onto the guitar top. The rosette combines a crescent of 13 stars (one for each of the original Colonies) around one half of the soundhole, opposite an early battle pennant that flew during the Revolution. A depiction of the first post-Revolution American flag is inlaid in dyed maple on the peghead." The historic set of guitars are currently owned by actor and musician John Schneider.
